Jewel just gifted us with another typically wonderful MySpace blog entry...

...and she flung out a bit of (undoubtedly) good-natured ribbing that nonetheless painted a somewhat unsettling picture in my mind:

"...and then we're on to LA for a Serenity convention with some chick named Morena who now has no hair."

Ummmmm, okay. I'm gonna need some clarification here.
Anybody know what Jewel's talking about?
I can't find anything on Google.
Did she have to shave her head for a role (Hey, it worked for Persis Khambatta!), or did she just get a really short haircut?

When I saw the picture of her cut hair, I could almost feel the metal of the knife in my chest.

I mean, I'll always like Morena. She's a great, beautiful, talented actress, but...

...WHY cut the long, black, lush, flowing, tresses that any (straight)man would love to get lost in? The hair accentuated her exoticness and her...her...daaaaamn-ness.

She should NOT!!!!!!!! have cut her hair. Why she would willingly give up that beautiful head of hair? Her long-haired looked so much better; if you have that beautiful hair she's got, that doesn't look all scraggly (like mine), you don't waste it on a short haircut!!!

While I'll agree it isn't as attractive did anyone not consider it may be for a part she's going to play? Actors do it all the time.
