Wonderfalls made the list, too. My favorite non-Whedon series, Myster Science Theator 3000, was listed as well - even though the show was on for ten years.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Thanks for pointing this out Meleaux, and thanks to JustDavid for posting the pic of FF. It is still up on the website.

Fifth out of twenty. Not too bad. Good to see that FF is still getting recognition for being wrongfully cancelled. Maybe a few USA Today readers will check it out.

Glad to see Wonderfalls getting some recognition too.

Glad to see MSCL in there, also, I believe 'Once and Again' was by the same creators or writers.
And I remember liking 'Nowhere Man'.

Anybody notice how many of those shows were on Fux?

The more I get to know people the more I like my dogs.

...and did y'all notice that Number 6 (right after 'Firefly') was the oft-lamented 'Farscape?' For those of you who wish 'Firefly' could have been continued on the SciFi Channel...wish no more. If they can cancel a series like 'Farscape,' a show even Matt Roush of TV Guide ranks as one of the top shows on TV, then they would have made mincemeat out of 'Firefly.'

I was a late bloomer to 'Firefly,' having come in during 'Our Miss Reynolds,' having NO idea who these people were or what the show was about. It wasn't until 'Out of Gas' that I realized this show had true potential. Having missed 'The Train Job,' I thought that the show was really strong in the Western genre, but weak in sci-fi, so I can see how the casual viewer was turned off and the ratings were so low, Fox promoted it wrong, Fox aired it in the wrong slot, and Fox failed to set it up with the proper airing order. Even I, a huge sci-fi fan, was almost turned off the show for that reason. Now, I own the 'Firefly' DVD set, saw every episode during it's Fox run, and was a regular poster on the "Official" board. I would have missed out on this great show, all because Fox executives don't understand scifi fans. Hell, even the SciFi Channel (we call them "Skiffy") doesn't understand the fans. Take heart, though, in that the Big Damn Movie (tm) will show everybody in the world what this show is all about. Seriously, with 'Serenity', the 'Farscape: Peacekeeper War' miniseries, and the planned 'Roswell' film, it seems like cancelled TV series are having a renaissance. Sit back and breathe in the sweet, sweet smell of success.
