May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Welcome to the board Annigerria. It is always a pleasure to greet a lurker turned poster. Hope to see you posting w/ us regularly.

I had seen a thread earlier that mentioned Firefly being up for a Hugo floating around here somewhere.

Yeah, I stuck that one up. It's great news no? I would be awesome for this series to win a big award like that.

Thanks. Not sure how much I'll post... not used to posting on boards. Didn't mean to step on toes... thought I'd looked around enough - missed the prior posting. A friend heard about the Hugo nominations at MiniCon in Mpls this weekend. She didn't remember the episodes mentioned because she hasn't had time to watch her DVD's yet. So I did a search at lunch for 2004 Hugo Awards and found the info. It's such welcome news, I just had to share it. Joss got 3 out of 5. That's pretty darn good!

It's incredible. I'd spent time telling other people online what great drama and story telling this Firefly is. Now, I have better ammo.

... this here's Vera.
