Navy...are you sure it wasn't one of the Spartans who followed you home from D*C?

Ok Phoebe...those were really nice Spartans:)

Colored in with pain and crayons? Did the crayons have thorns on them or something? :-P

I agree it would be amusing to watch.

Howdy ponderer-ers! Seems it took a while to catch up and I have a staff meeting in twenty. Whoopty freakin' doo! So I was out clelebrating Nevada Day/Halloween/my nephews birthday yesterday. On long, long day. There were good points and then there were REALLY good points. Is there days like that for any of y'all? As for the costume thing: I just gotta say two good friends in brown shirts should not stand too close together.

On that note, cue the music!

So, my son dressed up as Mal, and looked really good! My girls and younger son were cute too! My favorite costume - a lady I work with dressed as a french maid(not a slutty one). She picked up a mini-baseball bat, the kind you get at games on promo days, and one of my co-workers said"She went from maid to dominatrix with one additional prop." Very funny, but not equal to the cop image I had from Zeek's post. I'm a baaaaad boy!

So, I think I've already decided that next year I have to become Stephen Colbert and hit 6th street (our bar area) on the hunt for my new hot friend. I can go around getting pictures with all the hotties while doing the stephen point thing.
Something along the lines of this:

But more Halloween themed.

Oh yes there will be many a picture of Zeekphen Colbert with hottie friends.

Plus I can campaign for the upcoming elections with instructions on how to write in votes.

Hmm, seems Zeeks happy place might be one to mimic for my own self. Just be careful not to let the wrong ones in bud. Seems they settle in like ticks, the ones most try to avoid in the first place.

I'm about to sick my alter ego on my outward persona. Seems he needs a bitch slap like no other.

I need to be down and dirty outwardly more often. Seems things build to a degree of detriment to my outward self. My buddy John's alter ego is named Tumbleweed. Seems back in the day after some drinking and recreational substances coupled with blind male aggression Tumbleweed would take the helm and turn the town on its back. Mine is so suppressed that when he peeks around th corner a mile away people recognize it. He loves to take over in the "private" moments even if is only for a few minutes. And he loves, LOVES taking over when there is no need for restraint. I do believe in people having alter ego's because I have my own.

Now, back to the skanky thing. A discussion at the shop affirmed my theory of many women from a while back. Some women really want to be slutty without having to be an actual slut. For any woman out there who is not sure if this is an okay thing, don't fret. As long as it does not effect your life negatively, give it a try. I think all people who are in a relationship should
have that in them. We spend so much time repressing too many things from ourselves that the world never knows who we really are. If anyone we are with should be expected to be lumped in with the rest of the world that is a grave injustice to them. I am glad to let my alter ego take over for small moments. Seems I've learned alot from him. And I believe we have began to become the same person as it should be.

Here we go again. Maturity knocking at my door. Damn. Thought I could hide a little longer. (Grabs his B.O.B and jumps out the back window)

Don't worry about me. I actually don't think I'd ever go for a smoking hottie. They always seem to have issues that are mostly our (guys) fault. We give them so much power over us that it corrupts them. That's my theory at least. It's not at all that they're not lining up outside my door waiting for me to pick one.

You'd be surprized who is waiting in line once you become a bit more self aware. Seems I was questioned yesterday about the girls at Johns shop. Sure I flirt and yes I've been given openings but strangely I haven't taken them. I want a woman to tell me that she wants to go somewhere with me directly, not hint that is sounds like a good idea. She can be talkin' about anyone and I aim not to be just anyone.

Ladies, lets practice this. Repeat after me, but add in the appropriate word to fill the blank.

"I want you to BLANK with me."
or...
"How about you and I go BLANK at the BLANK?"
or...
"You're a good enough guy. How 'bout we go BLANK at your nearest availability?"

Not that the ladies here have a problem with that. But it just seems to me that the women (mostly the girls in the guise of women) in my town never or seldomly do this. It is a fifty fifty split of responsabilities.

That and I like being persued. Scratch that. I like facing off like hungry wild creatures competing to occupy the same space in the 'verse.
Is that a vauge enough explanation?

*scrambles in* (sorry sorry, but with two days of workshops [yick] and foot high stacks of papers that just don't seem to ever end, getting time to post here without sounding like a whiny lil' [fill in the blank here] is getting tough)
Longish response ahoy!

Zephyr: Ah...so does that mean we need to send her chocolates and flowers as a "thank you" for a. making Zeph happy, b. making Zeph believe the browncoat women about his good looks and downright sexiness (among other things)?

RIMG: Glad to hear the week is getting better. (BTW, WTFH is this about your van, and why TFH were you sleeping in it during the weekend instead of the new place? -- e-mail me 'bout it please.)

MsG: Gyah. First day back is on Halloween? Are the district PTBs on something? Yeesh...
'Course the way things were this year, I ended up just wearing my usual work clothing for Halloween...and when my smart-alec student tried to throw the crack "Nice mask Miss.." I just grinned my favorite "crazed mad scientist" grin and started cackling madly at them. (It's so much fun to throw them off like that. )

GG: You like pasties? Aren't they uncomfortable to wear and take off for a guy?...Oh...you meant pastries...

Hiya Whims! *wave* Dark chocolate is always of the good.

DTH: Cute costume!

Zeek: So whe do the womenfolk here get to see guys in slutty outfits?

*waves to PheobeRosetta*

*blinks* waitaminute...you mean you two are changing the world domination plans DTH? *mockpout* Darnit, I think I missed the update... *sigh*

Best costume seen (sorry, was anti-social and sleepy on a wet Halloween night...saw no kids) was my student dressed in a witch costume with black and green pig-tailed wig and glasses.

I second Zeek in the "MsG must be a reader" vote...woah.

Varsity? Guess I'm Southern-deprived and all, but all that has no meaning for me.

*giggle* "pain and crayons"...*giggle* *pauses, blinks* NAVY!! *tacklehugs Navy* Long time no see. 'Sides, you know we's likes our Navy.

I drove to Atlanta Saturday night. My van overheated a lot on the way back (and a couple of times on the way there), so I had to stop every 10 miles or so to let it cool off. During the cooling off times, I slept. :)

So you guys get all chatty while I'm away. I'm happy to see 120 some odd posts since I've been gone. Yeah!

We had no slutty costumes around here...at least none that I saw. I think women tend to use Halloween as an excuse to play with how they put themselves out there. Even the strongest most independent woman wants to be seen as a sexy. That whole virgin/whore thing.

Not to get too harsh on ya here, but:

That's total cowardice bullshit. If a girl is giving you signs and you're recognizing the signs...and want to go out with her too...then get off your freakin ass and ask her out. You'll feel like "Krull The Conqueror" (or some other medieval sounding burly man name) if you do and she says yes...which if you've been reading her correctly is the highly probable outcome. So quit sitting back and waiting for her to do all the work. No guts, no glory.

I had to go on a search for the news. Whedon, Minear and someone else have a new show called 'Dollhouse'? I've got to go find a synopsis. I'm tentatively excited (only tentatively because I'm sure it will be on a channel where I can't see it. )

Edited: I was a homeless runaway girl for Halloween. Our office did this full on CSI skit thing with each of us playing characters. The crime unfolded over the course of the day and pictures were sent out, etc. There was no after work revelry as it seemed most celebration occurred over the weekend (and I'm too old for too much mid-week partying. )

Sadness. So while I wasn't slutty for Halloween, I was trying to buy that sexy yellow dress for holiday parties. Turns out it's unavailable. but then it IS available on the website and live chatty person said she could send it, except that they aren't doing expedited shipping right now, so it won't get here in time. That also means the other dress I picked as a back-up is a no go.

And then the back-up's back-up (different site) isn't available until the end of Nov).

The world's are conspiring against me being sexy. *Rugbug cries in her cereal*.

'Course, I'm sure not many of you gentleman care right now 'cause I was all ranty a few posts up. Maybe instead of buying a dress I should go to the book store and get 'He's Not That Into You' or whatever it is called. Heh.

You guys have heard me say that I live in a small town, right? If not, I live in a small town. There is no mall. We have one (sucky) department store (Gottschalks). Otherwise it's Mervyn's or Old Navy. There is a Target, Kohl's K-Mart and WalMart within 40 miles...but those places aren't going to have anything I'm looking for right now.

Closest place to get nice dresses is Santa Barbara, and hour and half away. I could do the bridal shop route and hope to find a non-bridesmaidsy bridesmaids dress, but we've only got one of those.

I'm just pouting. I usually come up with something just fine for parties and it will all work out great. I just wanted to splurge and now the universe isn't letting me. :pout: (Maybe the universe has seen my checking account balance. )

I agree. I just want to do it in a pretty dress.

yeah I can see that.

And small town life. Ugh, I couldn't handle it. My parents live in a small town now. Real small. 1 stop light. Sneeze and you miss it as you drive through kinda place. I'd go insane even with net access, amazon.com, etc.

And that's why I love ya 'Bug. Seems there needs to be a class taught by you or someone with your same mindful direction for retards of both sexes. I ain't sayin' a woman has to do all the work. But I want to be chased down for a change. But that seems to be the same old song from me. As it sets I am jumping on anything that presents itself. I decided to move it up a notch for my personal well being. Of course I've been asked by a certin someone if I've been having sex with anyone else and naturally the answer is no. And honestly it might stay that way for a bit longer. It ain't that I'm totally hung up on her. It is that I recognize my potential to be something great for a change and it feels good. No, it feels fantastic. I have not given up my BCMW aspirations, but I have decided not to pimp my heart out anymore. I love myself. There isn't anyone who can change that. So maybe putting myself on the market ain't a bad thing. But now that I realize my heart is best put to work loving myself first I feel quite a bit more free to do what makes me happy.

Now that I have said something it is time to disappear into the black again. Gotta run out and get some stuff done. Glad to see y'all.

(BCMW thingy for man-bear Jimi) I got something to inquire better left to PM's. Be back in a bit. (Adds a pound and a hug for his brother in arms)
