Aussieland and other countries.

So if Waitress never came close enough to you, you can ask a theater to show it near you. Try art and independent theaters. Theaters that have midnight screenings. A theater that showed Serenity during the Serenity Charity Screenings. http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/

Be sure to mention that Nathan Fillion's character is the Waitress' OBGYN and that he is also on Desperate Housewives Season 4 as an OBGYN and that there is talk about Waitress getting some oscar nods. Might find a Browncoat theater owner.

STOWEAWAY

Oscar buzz? Really? That's shiny!
I hadn't heard -- but I don't really have my finger on the Oscar pulse.
I stand by my opinion that Andy Griffith deserves an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. NF aside, he was my favorite character in the whole film.

"With last week's release of the war film Rescue Dawn, at least a half-dozen movies have come out this year that studio execs consider Oscar bait. They include the dramas The Namesake, Away From Her, Once and the comedy Waitress. Most have received rave reviews if not big box-office returns."

"Last month, Fox Searchlight began offering passes for academy and industry guild members to see Waitress and Once free in theaters, a privilege studios usually withhold until fall."
