Firefly star Nathan Fillion represents a new kind of hero.

Actor Nathan Fillion and artist Martin Firrell discuss the beginnings of HERO and how Martin chose Nathan as the face of his public art project. "His face is an extraordinary thing," Firrell said.

While you're there read the article from the Edmonton paper on Nathan Fillion and the Hero project. It's a very good article and mentions that Martin Firrell is a big fan of Firefly/Serenity and that is what lead him to ask Nathan to come on board the Hero project.

I think that was what struck me the most, NCB... I had no idea that Martin saw Firefly and that was what inspired him to want Nathan for his "hero".
