Well, the discussion is about "Chuck", I LOVE that show and his character Mjr John Casey, but last question was about the future of Serenity and he confirmed what he said a while ago...

I'm just waiting for this whole writers guild strike to implode on everyone. According to the big corps, they're not even making money on movies anymore.

You can't stop the signal, and just like any great story over the years, others can add on to it and make it even more complete and better than it was before. Who knows....? If the industry implodes, perhaps Joss wouldn't have his hands tied anymore and he'd be free to independantly give his fans more of their fix one day.
Hopefully it happens long before he gets old and pudgy like Lucas and doesn't give us crappy prequels designed only to sell billions of overpriced toys.
