I was at New York fries today, in the food court at the mall, and when I sat down to begin eating I looked at the placemat. It has a bunch of different fries and all with different names. I came across one in particular that I found SO funny I took a picture and decided to post it here. I showed my mom. We LOL'd. :)

THE BROWNCOAT! (Even french fries, food items with no signs of life or intelligence, are fans of Firefly!)

I'd love to hear stories or see pictures of everyone elses firefly sightings or moments!

"Browncoat" would be a weirdish name for a
French-fry, I think. Bet there are Browncoats

LOL thanks for the Serenity pic! I've actually ben going around my city to see if I an find any firefly coincidenses but The New York Fries one happens to be the only one I've found. I'msure if I look hard enough I'll find some.

Oddly enough, I've started a photo journal of Firefly & Serenity locations that I encounter in my travels. (Not that I travel very often but I'm always on the lookout)
I missed the Serenity Nail Spa in Raleigh. But I did find Firefly Shoes there. Got my picture taken in front of it.
I also found a Firefly boutique in Wilmington, NC. The picture of me didn't turn out but I got the owner holding up a giant version of his logo.
Here in my hometown, we have the Serenity Hospice Care. "I always thought Serenity had a vaguely funerial sound."
But I think the Browncoat french fry is the funniest gorramn thing I've seen yet. That's the last place I would have expected to find a Firefly reference.

I can only imagine a true Browncoat would name a frenchfry Browncoat. Where else would they come up with such a name. It really looks ugly.

CHAOSSERENITY

There's a restaurant in Addison, TX called 'firefly'. The font on the sign is even kind of similiar! I think every state has a town called Canton. We've got one in Texas where they hold this huge flea market/ tradeshow thing. We sang "The Hero of Canton" on the way there.
