I don't know if anyone else has found this yet, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I got this from IMDb, but it comes from FilmCritic.com

In their list of the Ten Best Tracking Shots (i.e. shots in movies that follow action and last an extended period of time), Serenity pops up at #6. According to them, it actually ranks twice (and ties with itself) due to technicality.

I think the list is missing some much better tracking shots (Magnolia, for one), but love the fact that they acknowledge Serenity for the accomplishment.

Thoughts?

Children of Men should have been on that list twice, IMO. The car chase/crash sequence was phenomenal, but I think the

tracking shot - with blood on the lens - was even better.

Didn't Hitchcock make a movie that was a tracking shot, i.e., no cuts?

I know this list pertains to movies, but the tracking shot to open season 5 of Angel was pretty sweet.
