SE Wisconsin Browncoats - Opportunity to Promote Firefly!

Hello fellow SE WI Browncoats.

An opportunity to promote Firefly on a local television station has presented itself. Channel 10, the local Public Television station here in Milwaukee, is holding their annual fund raising auction April 23rd - May 1st and they're still looking for donations of items/services to support that effort.

Items must be brand new and in perfect condition. For more details, consult their news release section on www.mptv.org .

If anyone has any brand new/never opened Firefly DVD sets, here is an opportunity to donate them to a worthy cause whiile getting them a little free on-air advertising.

I'm currently working on dontating a few sets. I would be happy to help out with some Firefly inspired custom printables to include if anyone else is interested in donating DVD sets for the cause.

If they're doing fundraising are they having a pledge drive?

Because if they're having a pledge drive you could also organize a bunch of firefly fans to answer phones wearing brown coats and call yourselves Firefly Fans of WI or some such which would result in even more exposure.

I think they may be looking for people to man the phones during the auction, too. Unfortunately, I don't think that there are enough browncoats in SE WI online to make a representative showing for something like that.
