Greetings Fellow Browncoats!

I have finally decided to join the ranks here at firefly.net, and as a way of introducing myself, I wanted to share a music video that I created. Hope you all enjoy it.

I love this FF site and I love the topic. All things Joss. It can't get better than that.Hopefully, I can be more than just a lurker now that I'm offical.

Really liked the video up until you brought in Serenity then I LOVED it. Seriously brought me to tears, now I have to go find a tissue.

its beautiful, it really is. it almost made me cry, but since i dont cry i didnt, but its a wonderful piece of film-making, and i want 2 b in film for a living (writer/director/actor. I thank u for making that.

Wow, I loved this.
You picked the great shots of those showing emotion, I never noticed Zoe's before. And the scenes with Serenity showed me that, that ship had emotions as well. This made me realize that in the scene when Mal looks at Serenity for the first time, she looks like she is lonely and just waiting for someone to pick her up and take her out.

Well, I've never heard that particular song, and honestly, have never been much into Sarah Mclaughlin's music.

But that was better than any "real" video I've seen on MTV since the debut of "November Rain"--damn good work!

Absolutely love the edit job, you really captured the emotions, instead of the typical action shots... very cool, indeed.

Very nicely done, Fraser! This was the only fan vid I've seen that treated Serenity as a character herself. Shiny!

Actually, the feeling I've been getting from that scene (ever since I saw it in OoG) was of barely restrained confidence.

You know what all those other ships are; wheezy old rattletraps all gussied up with bright paint and tight welds to look classy, hoping to take in the rubes. Basically like any country "Used Whatever" lot. Their tender is wandering around, proudly pointing out all their strengths and diplomatically ignoring their weaknesses.

And there's Serenity, parked a little away from the others, looking kinda shy. Lot owner thinks she won't sell; she's all bare metal and gimpy legs. He's not even trying to push her. But she's gleaming there in the sunlight, and her prow is uplifted as though she's staring wistfully at the blue sky, just waiting to spot the first glimmer at dusk, and you realize it's not self-consciousness.

She's a dreamer, that ship is. She knows she doesn't belong there, on that dusty lot with those pitifully ordinary boats. She's destined for greater things. That ship wants to be a hero.

No power in the 'verse can stop her.

*remembers how River grinned in "Safe," when she was out in vacuum for the first time*

I know it's all scenes I've seen before but when you string them together like that, add a pretty piece of music, it is very sweet. Sweet tears.

Welcome to the board Fraser. Glad to have you w/ us.

I love the video. It is absolutely great. I think the addition of Serenity as one of the "women" in Mal's life is fitting.
