In today's edition of USA Today, their entertainment columnist Whitney Matheson, has an interview with Jane Espenson as well as an exerpt from Serenity Bound that is by Nathan. Nathan's essay is wonderful and has insights into his character Mal, that I have not seen anywhere else. Leave a comment if you have the time. My comment is under Josephus, which I use here.

Also, it's worth noting that The Independent Film Channel (on DirecTV and elsewhere) last week broadcast a little known indie film, "Way Off Broadway", that starred Morena Baccarin. I was unaware of the film but managed to TiVo it for repeat viewings. It's excellent and she's wonderful in it. Unfortunately, Netflix doesn't carry it and I'm not aware of it being released on DVD. Maybe the IFC will broadcast it again in the future.
