Somebody here asked to see some Red Dwarf online before he or she could nominate it for the top 40, so I went to YouTube.com and pasted a few clips here. These clips are not an entire episode so I suppose they can be taken out of context, but I hope you enjoy them all the same.

Might I suggest also that this person goes and buys one of the DVDs so that he/she can watch some full episodes. I can guarantee that it will be money well spent because Red Dwarf is one the most legendary shows out there and is easily in the Top 40 of any list that concerns it.

Oh who doesn't love Red Dwarf... my favorite moment is when Rimmer's been infected with the holovirus and they get back and get put in quarantine and he appears wearing the red checked dress, bonnet, with pigtails, and combat boots and says " is something amiss?" and Lister in a choked voice says " god no what could possibly be amiss?"

Red Dwarf rocks. Brit comedy at it's best.

The red dress and bonnet was outstanding. One of those moments when you just can't stop laughing.

Big fan of the Skutters myself. And Dwayne Dibbley was just fantastic. And Ace Rimmer.
'Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.'
Classic.

Season One should surely be cheap now. It's quite a few years old now.

*snort* Yeeah, it should be.

I adore Red Dwarf, but I can't afford to watch it. Thirty or forty bucks for a series of six episodes is a little... ridiculous.

I don't think that being cautiously ashamed, or selectively ashamed, or in any way ashamed of who I am is any way to live my life.

I'll post a few more clips tonight when I get home. It's good to spread the joy of Red Dwarf this way.

Wow, and I thought we got ripped off here in the UK with DVD prices, extra features etc. That is a lot for a few episodes.
I just did a quick check on Amazon US and UK. Both prices are comparable, and both way too high.

I actually bought my Red Dwarf collection several years ago and it is in VHS format. I bought every copy but was unable to get the first three seasons right off and when I did get them they were altered to add laugh tracks and I would like ot get the original first three seasons. I would also like to buy the dvds, and when I do I will go to Amazon.com where I can get all seven seasons for $187.00. I just bought series 1 and 2 on vhs pre remastered from Amazon.com.

I was just fortunate enough to find red dwarf series 2 bytes 1 and 2 in vhs format which were not remastered so I think this will make my set of vhs tapes complete and un-remastered. I will buy the dvds soon but they are too pricey for me this time of the year.

Red Dwarf rocks! Funniest scene was in Backwards when Cat takes a break in the bushes to do his business. How could anything be worse for Cat? Giggling just thinking of it.

And when weasel rimmer has to become the new ace rimmer (series 7, ep2 - Stoke me a clipper) 'Stoke me a clipper, I'll be back for Christmas. Whatever!'

Anybody who disagrees with any of this violently can do so. But no matter what you do, "You can't take the sky from me".
