Alas there seems to be a sad dearth of River/OC stories out here (though you can see why - not going to go into specifics here). But, Blackbeanie, I viewed that fanfic trailer you posted and I really, REALLY want to read yours!

I went to the Firefly's Glow archive ( http://firefly.populli.org) and tried to find some River/OC stuff, but the advanced search didn't turn up anything. Mayhaps if you browsed there a little while....?

Taking this opportunity to plug what I think is some of the finest and best-produced fan-fic I've seen for any show, anywhere: Virtual Firefly

They're planning to release Episode 19 of Season 2 before the end of the year. All scripts are in tv-script form, with some illustrations and camera directions. VERY good stories! not your typical "Everything the fans want to happen happens (ie Inara and Mal doin the nasty)" fan-fic.

As in, someone of the author's creation and definitely NOT a crewmember on Serenity (not gonna go any further with that one).
