Don't know if anyone's posted already but today is the five year anniversary of the original airing of Firefly's 2 hour pilot... which means it was also the airing of the last episode.

Kinda thought it might be nice to take a moment to think about that (and maybe hurl or curse or two at Fox) and also reflect on what's happened since.

Very true. I think what Joss and his crew (and, frankly, we fans) have accomplished in the past five years is nothing short of amazing.

But no matter how many comics, movies, and votes we get, there's still a little part of me that's kinda annoyed because right now we should be whining about the writers' strike disrupting Season Six!

5 years, damn that's a long time when I think back now but I totally agree Joss & co. have done so much in that short time. I know what I'll be watching tonight now apart from Cowboy Bebop.
