I hadn't checked in awhile (and there may have been an announcement here that I missed) but Wonderfalls has officially cracked the top 10 most requested unreleased shows at tvshowsondvd.com. It's at #8. (Of course, it's only separated from #10 by 13 votes, and it's got another 80 or so to go to bump the Golden Girls out of 7th place, but at least it's showing up.)

That's the best placing so far!

All but one of these shows on the list are at least five years old, most are 10 or more years since their teevee debuts. WF has soared to the top in just weeks.

And now a 26 vote lead.

For newbies who missed it while it was on and/or don't know about it at all, Wonderfalls is a show that first aired in March of this year, in the same Friday night Death Slot as Firefly. It was executive produced (and some episodes written) by Tim Minear (co-executive producer of Firefly, and writer/director of, among other things, "Out of Gas"). It was a quirky, intelligent, funny, dramatic show that got canceled after only 4 episodes were aired.

If there's anyone here who liked Wonderfalls (or is sad they missed it and want a chance to see it on DVD) who hasn't voted for it yet, please to go http://www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for it. (But don't try to make multiple accounts and vote for it multiple times--that happened before, and they had to disallow voting for it for awhile while they sorted the valid from the invalid votes.)

If Wonderfalls gets over 3000 votes it will put it into the Top 3. Spread the word and tell people to vote for Wonderfalls. There is a Wonderfalls petition with over 20,000 signitures on it so to get 3000 votes should be easy.
