My older son and I made cupcakes last week for his 5th birthday; we were going to send them with him to school. He washed his hands beforehands, but didn't dry them off; as a result, he ended up with some seriously blue hands :)

I sent him off to school, only to have him get in trouble with his teacher because he didn't want to wash his hands again (he informed her in no uncertain terms that it wasn't going to work, and he was right).

I must admit I was thinking of Firefly the whole time; I wonder if the teacher was once the subject of an evil government project?

Sigh...mental note: hands of blue are BAD.

Likely. Ive suspected several of my teachers are and were.... at least it would explain a few things. Like why they watch *shudders* fox news.

Seriouskly awesome though, I should go bake cookies like right now...

How do you get blue hands from baking cupcakes with wet hands? What weird stuff are you guys putting in cupcakes over there?

Well, that would certainly exaplin an awful lot of the ones I had. The question is, can she kill you with her brain and/or math?

Oops - left out the part about the blue sugar...he wanted to put blue sugar on top of the icing :)

As for the brain melting, it's kinda the other direction. I'm both proud and very, very worried that my son has a brain a bit like River's before they messed with hers...the teacher best be careful, I guess.
