It's been awhile since I posted, and forgive a long-time board member for that. But, since I actually have something post-worthy, I figured I'd give it a go.

Anyone who's played the Serenity RPG (and even those who haven't), know that the omission of a map created a big void. I've tried to remedy it with maps before, but I could never create something that was even close to being realistic while not inhibiting the drama and fun of flying through the 'black seen in the series.

I just finished work on one that I think works -- or at least works fairly well. It accounts for shifting planetary orbits and computes travel time, but doesn't get bogged down in rules.

The catch: It's big, and has to be printed at 100 percent to be used to accurately measure distances. The plus side is that it's kind of neat looking, even if you don't play the game.

I made two versions: One that's tiled over 8 letter-sized sheets (so it can be taped together) or one huge version you could take to a local printer.

PS: A note on canon: A lot of it is canon, but there's plenty of stuff in there that isn't. (There were places where we needed more detail, so I gleaned it first from official sources, then fan info, and then just filled in blanks where needed.)

Just wanted to chime in here. Great site. I go to FireflyRPG just to scope things. Very cool. I got to run a 1 shot FF game for some friends using GURPS, and the resources there rocked.

Thanks! I'm glad y'all are finding it useful. I'm thinking of some optional rules modifications based on successful astrogation rolls, etc.; I'll post them this weekend.
