First of all, I've only seen the episodes once but I will be watching them again as soon as I get then of the net. Anywayz, herez what I need answered:

1. How long are Preacher, Simon & River taking a ride for?

2. Is the Alliance station mobile? 'Cause in 'Bushwacked' it just all of a sudden appeared. Or was it that Serenity happened to fly into its path?

3. Who hasn't spoken chinese yet? I think Preacher, Simon & River haven't but has Jayne?

Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

1. As far as I know its indefinite.

2. I THINK its mobile yes. And perhaps someone can clear this up for me... are there more then one? I'm thinking yes.

3. Honestly I havn't kept a close count so I won't give my guesses.

Hope that helps(and hope its accurate)

Yeah that I helps, thanks. As for question 2, yeah it makes more sense to have more than 1 alliance station 'cause I doubt the station can travel fast 'cause its upright. Anyway, thanks again.

Cheers!

1. Simon and river are going to stay on indefinately, because they are running from the alliance, and in the words of Mal from "serenity", "You`ll probably be safer when your moving, and we never stop moving"

2. Its not a station at all, its an Alliance cruiser, I beleive.

3. I`m pretty sure jayne has spoken chinese.

The shape of a ship in a vacuum does not matter. there is no air resistance. Which is why Borg cubes are so badass even though they're hardly areodynamic.

Actually shape still matters in space. You want it to be supported and armored so that weapon hits aren't able to damage it as much. But if it's a bunch of thin little pillars then weapon hits will probably do more damage. Shape only doesn't matter in the context of moving in space.

Could be either a station or a ship--after all, the Death Star was a station and it had that annoying little tendency to wander around space--though I do wonder how they managed to get something that large into hyperdrive. I would guess that the Alliance item is a ship, though. Shape and vulnerability probably don't matter too much. The only opponents we've seen to the Alliance are the very defeated rebels, who probably don't have much in the way of ship armament even when they are carrying some. The Reavers seem to prefer to board a ship and take over from the inside, rather than blasting from the outside. The Alliance's military attitude probably stems more from the fact that they are a tool of a government and are therefore plagued with regulations and uniforms rather than, at this date, having to fight anyone.

Inside every cynic there's an idealist desperately yearning to be let out, and when they are let out they're usually a real pain and cause all sorts of trouble. --Chris Boucher

Well, I'm thinkin' the big ol' engines on the Alliance cruiser suggests some degree of mobility...besides, who sticks a space station in the middle of ruttin' nowhere?
