We have set a goal of 55 cities this year. so if your city is not listed there, dont give up hope. it may mean your organiser simply hasnt posted interest just yet, and is waiting to sort out details with venue etc before announcing they are in, or that your city is awaiting an organiser. That could be you! sounds daunting, we know. but every event so far has been run by simple ordinary fans, most who would never have thought they were capable of organising anything beyond birthday parties (well maybe im speaking of myself there), let alone an event like this, but they can and they do, with amazing success. And we can't reach that goal without you guys picking up the mantle.

Pop on over to http://www.CantStoptheSerenity.com, check out what and who we are, sign up to the forums, offer your help, read the thread http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89 about what you need to think about to be an organiser, and start mis-misbehaving!

I'd like to try and make it to Des Moines this year. I've never been to a screening or any other Browncoat event before. Would really be nice. Good reason to wear my Jayne hat. Though who needs a reason... or any reason at all.

yes and territories. we also have schools, cars, and planes!!!! :D

WA, SA, NSW, QLD, VIC are states. then the ACT, and NT.... and umm i always forget what tassie counts as... part of vic?

looks like we might have 4/5 states participating. i'd say that makes Oz the MOST wonderful land of browncoats. higher percentage of states holding a screening and all that. possibly more screenings per capita..

a quick google check puts the US population at 301 million.. so at 17 states... = 1 city per 17 million

aussie population = 20 million.. so at 4 states = 1 city per 5 million

of course if we want to do per capita properly i'd need to check how many screenings the US is having...

but i still reckon we win on being the most stubborn browncoats!

(course technically our screenings are much smaller in attendance than most US cities one, by about half, but i need to brag about something. we might be the only country to increase the number of screenings this year!)

the best way to get in touch with the houston organiser is through the main csts.com forum in the organisers thread, or to PM them.
