Could that be about Inara? I remember her saying that Mal never could operate her shuttle, so maybe that quote was along similar lines?

If'n that ain't it, then I'm stuck.

"You could, sir. But she's the only one who knows how anything works."

Since it's been a dasy, I'll also say it's not about Inara or shuttles. But it is from a scene already utilized in this thread - an ensemble scene, with all 9 BDHs.

Also, I just checked for accuracy, and the quote matches what the script says. Haven't checked against the DVD.

Um...is that where they're (Kaylee, Captain, Zoe, Wash, Jayne, & Book) are playing some sorta ball game? Mal says something like, "You think I could pitch her off the boat, if she does that again?" (Kaylee makes a shot). And then Zoe says that.

God, that's a hard one

Mal to Kaylee in the engine room, offering her a job, "Long as you can keep her in the sky."

One of my favorite, an easy one, is OIS around the table.

Jayne: I don't like the idea od someone hearing what I'm thinking.

Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

Wash holds back laughter.

Not a line to guess but I do love it so.

Jayne's the speaker. I'm pretty sure it's from OiS (but maybe it's from the Message).

Side note: Was on a business trip in Italy last year. A co-traveler ordered a steak at a restaurant. Yep, we found out later it was horse.

Anyway, assuming my guess is correct, here's a new quote:
"It is just sitting."

Oooooooooookay, I just watched that episode and I didn't hear anyone say anything like that during the ball game :-P

Yeah, we know it's Jayne, but which episode and which scene? It's still unanswered until the ep is stated.
