Well, there was this dog I met, that I thought had to be a wolf cross-breed (I think. Seems like a valid concern to me. Sure turning into an uncontrollable monster (and having your perfectly good clothing ruined in the process) for three nights out of every 28 sure is unpleasant but think how much worse it would be if you also wound up foaming at the mouth.

Assuming people could see you sure. That ain't a given for ghosty types though. Also you wouldn't be able to eat anything as a ghost which I think would be a drag for a predatory kind of monster.
