Hey all,
Just wondering how many people here has seen the Fraiser episode "The Great Crane Robbery" (season 8) which features guest star Alan Tudyk? I just re-watched the episode (the first time re-watching it since I watched Firefly), hence was suprised to realise Alan Tudyk was in this episode.

He's really good in it IMHO. If you seen it, what did you think of his role in it? :-)

If you haven't watched the episode, Alan Tudyk plays a multi-millionaire who buys the radio station that Fraiser works at. However he's a bit out-of-his depth, and so Fraiser tutors him with regards to the art and wine world.

Anywhoo, erm... yeah!

Yes I've seen it. I enjoy Frasier quite a bit. I was a bit surprised the first time I saw the episode. He has a great part in it.

Yep! At first he looks the same as in Firefly (but just with different hair), but then he ends up copying Fraiser by wearing expensive, hand-tailored suits etc.

I can't find any good pictures, although one of his "pre-suit" shots is:

Yep indeed! He's a really good actor, it was great to see him play the role he did.

Nice, rumply-casual Alan.

I've probably already said he's quite lovely
and perfect and funny in "Knocked Up."
In the DVD commentary, it's admitted that Alan's
audition was so perfect they had to hire him
or risk getting into trouble for copying aspects
of his original performance. Or at least that's
what I took away from it.
