Yes. Blood can be quite bothersome once it dries. Next time use club soda or hydrogen peroxide to get it out.

Hiding the body vump and nom to Juan Do'h!

Finally! Someone who understands vump!
The club soda & Hydrogen Peroxide are only useful if you want to 'cosmetically' remove the blood. If you're expecting a visit from the Alliance types, you have to use either chlorine bleach or fire. Bleach is the more precise (& easier to explain) tool.

Actually, I'm scraping up the black glue residue from under the tile squares that used to be there. Prepping to lay ceramic tile.

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble, you can try an alternate address instead.

You can vote for more as many Top 40 shows as you like, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Download the FlyVote voting timer, a NEW version of the program. It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc

Votes are counted per network IP, so, don't go to the library or your office and vote hourly on each computer on the subnet, or all votes will be thrown out; multiple votes on rotating IPs will likewise be rejected.

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 636,069 (634,865)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,204 (1,120) times, 84 more than the previous day. Way to hold the valley, Browncoats! Let's keep it up!

Total votes Xena: 505,662 (505,185)

Yesterday, Xenites voted 477 (547) times, 70 fewer than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 727 (573) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

Firefly is 130,407 (129,680) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #22 show Star Trek: Voyager 125,452. That puts us at 19,593 (20,320) votes away from a 150,000 vote lead, about 26.95 (35.46) days.

We got our next banner, for 635,000 votes, today! Shiny!

Our next, big goal, 650,000 votes, is 13,931 (15,135) votes, and, 11.57 (13.51) days away!

6,880,413 (6,867,286) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 05/01/08. Yesterday, 13,127 (12,572) votes were cast. Our share fell to 9.2446347% (9.2447732%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny?):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 490 (455) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 333 (312) votes, yesterday, in 160.6 (177.42) days.

#7 show Buffy got an astounding 690 (637) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 365 (361) votes, yesterday, in 23.5 (28.85) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 20,766 (21,456) votes, and 30.1 (33.68) days, away, while Farscape is 35.97 (37.38) days from getting there.

Buffy is blazing ahead, in the Hall of Fame race! Let's up the vote and keep her on top!

#11 show Angel got an amazing 620 (548) votes, yesterday. Angel is currently receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat!, which received 357 (342) votes, yesterday, in 17.21 (23.52) days.

#15 show Babylon 5 got 411 (371) votes, yesterday, and, is on track to pass #14 show Stargate SG-1, which got 278 (263) votes, in 34.83 (44.13) days.

#30 show Dark Shadows got 431 (434) votes, yesterday, and is receiving enough votes to pass #29 show Charmed, which got 213 (182) votes, in 1.5 (2.17) days.

#41 show (#1 in the Nominations Poll) Blood Ties got 516 (548) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #40 show Cleopatra 2525, which got 158 (178) votes, in 28.37 (28.41) days.

#46 show (#6 in the Nominations Poll) Moonlight got 406 (419) votes, yesterday, and will pass #45 show Rome, which got 174 (168) votes, yesterday, in 2.94 (3.64) days.

Thanks, again, for your time, and, for your support of these great shows!

AND...

Maverick 12410
Surface 12164

Surface got 175 Nominations votes, yesterday. That was better than 5 of the Top 40 shows got! That beat 12.5% of the Top 40 shows!

It's another 246 votes to pass Maverick, which got 43 votes, which means it'll still take us at least another 2 days to pass, at these voting levels.
