Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 84.6 (99.17) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting. If we can average 1,000 Firefly votes/day, we can reach 750,000, three-quarters of a million votes! Let's shoot for that as a meaningful goal, and keep the daily average up!

Firefly is 144,489 (143,872) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #21 show Trapper John, M.D. 143,320. That puts us at 5,511 (6,128) votes away from a 150,000 vote lead, about 8.93 (12.98) days, based on current voting.

We'll get our next banner, for 665,000 votes, in another 1,865 (3,039) votes, and 1.59 (3.1) days!

Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 86,865 (88,039) votes, and, 73.99 (89.74) days away! We're still on course in the effort to reach our goal on time!

7,199,928 (7,186,477) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 05/28/08. Yesterday, 13,451 (11,406) votes were cast. Our share fell to 9.2103005% (9.2112032%) of all Top 40 votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately! Let's continue to support our friends! Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 570 (512) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 321 (284) votes, yesterday, in 83.33 (92.09) days.

#7 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 657 (521) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 391 (363) votes, yesterday, in 10.53 (19.42) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 6,512 (7,169) votes, and 9.91 (13.76) days, away, while Farscape is 9.49 (11.3) days from getting there.

Just a little over a week remains in the Hall of Fame race! Buffy is neck and neck in the race for the Hall of Fame! Let's vote to get her out in front!

#11 show Angel got 565 (467) votes, yesterday, receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat!, which received 384 (395) votes, in 13.98 (37.65) days.

#15 show Babylon 5 got 433 (365) votes, yesterday, and, is on track to pass #14 show Stargate SG-1, which got 338 (260) votes, in 20.24 (19.22) days.
