Just a warm welcome from a fellow Browncoat. I'm trying to spread awareness of our 'verse in the armed services, seeing as how I've now decided to give them six years of my life.

Hope to hear from you soon, and btw, the episodes may be over, but remember that we're creating our own ideas here. Check out the fanfic area and you might find something you like. Stick with us and enjoy the ride my friend. We all bleed brown here.

I also just finished the entire series (I watch the BDM [Serenity] every time I find it playing on my satellite) and I have decided that the execs at Fox who flubbed the launch of this show should be fired (out of an airlock) if they aren't already gone. Business decisions were the downfall of this brilliant show. And it, more than any other, deserves a 2nd chance. I don't want a sequel to the BDM, I want (at least) 4 more seasons of the great show I just watched and am telling everyone I know about!
My thinking now is, if crap like Beverly Hills 90210 can be revived many years past expiration, then Firefly should be revived (if there is any justice in the 'Verse at all).

Hi everyone,

I'm also a Firefly newbie. I actually ran across Firefly (on the Universal HD cable channel) and they were showing the episode Ariel. I found the episode interesting and then decided to read what I could about Firefly and Serenity on Wikipedia.

The next thing to do was buy the Firefly series on DVD as well as the Serenity movie release. I then watched the entire series and movie within one weekend and now bleed brown :smile. I'm also sad that there is nothing else to watch. Based on what I've read from other users on Fireflyfans.net, it's great to know that there are others who are enthralled with the 'verse of Firefly and everyone who dwells in it.

Here's hoping that Serenity will make it back to TV and/or more feature films about Mal and the gang.
