Has anyone seen that show Californication starring David Duchovney? Its pretty funny. Anyway the reason I bring it up here is 'cause in the 4'th ep they go to a party and use the terms "shindig" and "feminine wyles" one after the other. Is this a subtle FF reference or do I just have FF on the brain and I'm reaching? Does anyone know if there are any confirmed browncoats working on that show? Just curious.

I too have seen the show and like it a lot. Nice to see David Duchovny begin to move out of the shadow of THE X-FILES (even though he'll be brought back in it at the end of the month), and it amazes me that Pamela Adlon, the woman who voices Bobby Hill on KING OF THE HILL is so gorram sexy. But I think that's more of a coincidence than an actual FIREFLY reference.

Now if they could get Jewel Staite on the show as one of Hank's conquests and have her riding him like a cowgirl, then I'll believe that they're not only Browncoats, but also X-Philes, since she's just as famous for kissing Mulder in Season3 of THE X-FILES as she is for Kaylee.

Oh yeah! I forgot all about them kissing. I was a huge X-Files fan but admittedly I haven't watched it in a while. That would in fact be amazing if they brought her on the show. And I wasn't aware that Pamela Adlon did the voice for Peggy.

Not Peggy. Bobby. Peggy is voiced by Kathy Najimy (sp?) who is one of the few voices in WALL-E, along with Jeff Garlin and Pixar lucky charm John Ratzenberg.

I'm re-watching the series, what with the movie coming out soon. And Jewel's ep "Oubilette" is in season 3. I don't remember her hersself, but just the storyline of the ep of the woman who was kidnapped as a child by the same man that kidnapped Jewel and the psychic connection the two have and how she dies by drowning, even though she was nowhere near a body of water at the time.

God that was an awesome show. And if Jewel whose now all grown up guests on the show and we just see her as Kaylee Gone Wild, then Californication will be even more awesome.
