Saw that the old thread 1) had many posts on it, and 2) was way far down on the list, and probably forgotten :-P so I figured I'd dream up a new thread.

What other thing's have y'all found or ressurrected that you've completely forgotten about or lost till now?

FIRSTIES!!

This thread came at an opprotune time. I just finished cleaning my room- not just getting all the stuff off the floor, but cleaning out my closet, drawers, cabinet, yada. And, in the process, I discovered a whole bunch of crap that I'd forgotten about. For example...

~several broken earrings that need to be fixed
~lots of ribbon-y type stuffs that I guess I meant to use for something or other but never got around to it
~a couple books
~lots of CD cases which are now useless as I put the CDs in one of those CD holder type things
~my box of feathers ^_^

And... there's a whole bunch more stuff that I found, but I seem to have kinda lost them again, so I couldn't tell you specifically what it is LOL ^_^

I know... I'll buy so many books, and then when i get home, there's no room for any of them, so they kinda end up in stacks on the floor (the animals are on penalty of death if they knock over any of them)

Have you considered under bed boxes??? They're great. You can fit a ton of books into them and slide them under the bed, then if you want a book, slide them out and grab it:) http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10073345

It is good to have so many books. Reading is so important. I use the library, but I still like to own my personal copies. I like to reread them if they are excellent. Especially history. My favorite subject. Ask me anything about WWII. Well, maybe not everything.

P.S.
My bed is already filled underneath. I really need to throw some stuuf out.

just found the perfect name for my car, and i don't know why in hell it took me this long to figure it out.

Serenity.

And I'm not saying that because I love Firefly so much, I'm sayin cuz it's fuckin true. that damn car has more pieces fallin off of it than any car I've seen go through my family. This piece of junk runs just fine when it's altogether...until something starts to fall off. then for some reason the damn thing's like "im not gonna run right till u fix meeeeeeeeee." which is what it's doing right now.
the heat shield started to fall of my exhaust, which came to my attention when i heard scraping on the pavement. the boyfriend mechanic ripped it off for me, and discovered a hole in my exhaust. Got the part to fix the exhaust which cost me an arm and a leg (hasn't been swapped out yet btw)
and now the transmission control module is on the FRITZ. i fixed the component that needed to be replaced. but apparently Serenity didn't like that, so now she's goin screwy on me between working and randomly deciding she doesn't want to work ><

so, Serenity it is. She somehow stays running..even when she's falling the fuck apart @_@ and i love her ^_^

Lets hope that the car will keep flying longer than Serenity did...

And, I am? I thought it was, like, just your nickname. I'm sure I remember other people calling you tex before I did.... oh, yeah, that explains it, lol. You should never trust my memory :P

And, just because I'm a nutcase, doesn't mean... a little, it means... a medium amount of something worthless , I remember. but, then again, you can't trust my memory, unless it's one of those times that you can.

i hope she keeps flyin, cuz she's been runnin for 16 years (even though ive only had her for 2) and iunno about her previous owner, but ive been keepin her in kaylee-like repair, so XD

yeah when i first got here ppl would call me tex from time to time, and they somehow just all of a sudden started callin me flt instead :-P

oh nother question, in the little flashing part of ur sig, the one that says "...i just blew up the book" "you just WHAT??" who's the one saying 'u just what??" i cant reads the name

We have donuts here that have a vanilla like pudding that they call Bavarian Creme. It could be from Nebraska for all I know. I just know that when it is my turn, at the office, to buy donuts I lean towards these and any others with chocolate on them.

I'm a chocoholic. I should live in Hershey, Penn.

Not my only vice, but the one that will probably lay me in my grave.

Do you think threads appreciate being bumped? Because I don't know if I would. I guess it depends on the type of bump - location, strength, etc.

Maybe the thread doesn't care for people - bogging it down, making it bigger and slower. Maybe it's trying to watch its weight, or it's antisocial. Bumping could be nefarious, y'know.

If we were elephants, we wouldn't have to bump anything.

If we were elephants, elephants would be humans, so we would be humans, and we would still need to bump. The only difference would be that yet another wonderful species would be extinct.... but, since there must always be balance in the universe, that means an extinct species will be reborn! We need to choose which species we shall make roam the earth again...

This power is intoxicating. I shall choose... the Tasmanian Wolf (also called the Tasmanian tiger and Thylacine)

Zeek is here? Where?

The doctor poked me in both arms today. I guess it's only fair, though, considering I was two years overdue for a tetanus shot. I just don't understand - they drew my blood first, so why couldn't they shoot me up again in the same arm?

I should have told them to poke the vein of my left arm, too, because it still kind of hurts and it's hard to do things like eat with only one hand, much less my non-dominant left hand.

Sorry about the whining. I really do like my doctor. Resume normal insanity.

We could make do with garden dwarves I suppose. Though they have this inexplicable thing were they run up to the butler ashtrays and bite their shins. I'm not sure if they think it's funny or what?
