I also can usually tell when someone is lying to me. I get this "feeling" that they're not being truthful and it won't go away. Something recently happened at my job that confirmed this. Usually I don't put a lot of faith in that ability, but this time I got proof. I didn't know what to do with it, but it felt good and strange at the same time.

They're interesting phenomenon, but I'd be interested in seeing some studies on whether processing of the information received is impaired by the volume of information. If you take in that much, to what extent can you process and manipulate the information, or draw conclusions from it?
