Yay! I'd buy one!

*Takes a dive back into the imponderables thread - quite glad that I only need to spend half an hour catching up these days!*

Dreams. Those are fun. That's where I get to fly and kill people and have sex with improbable people and become a pirate and turn into a man and then an animal and accidentally invent a cure for cancer - usually all in one night!

When I was in Africa my campmates used to all compare 'Larium' dreams in the morning (an antimalarial drug whose side-effects include very surreal and realistic dreams). Mine always won, and I wasn't even on larium!

Aiko - I have a tip that worked for me about the regular being chased dreams but it's a bit X rated! Not as much as FMF's 'smilie' though, which I love and is going straight into my favorites... Um, I didn't actually mean that the way it sounded!

Sorry Zeek I was busy being beaten up for 4 hours by a violent 19 year old and having him dump water on me a ruin my cell phone ....I'd rather have been here posting...

HUGS Em wow that's cool that you have vivid dreams. I usually win for oddest as I don't see pictures when I dream. I can hear things and I know the narrative ( it's kind of like having a book on cd dream)Every once in a while I have a visual dream, but it's very rare for me

MsB (hang in there, not long now),about your dreams, that is odd. Explain more how that works. Are you, as yourself, experiencing the dream or is it an detached story about other people? Is it a case of knowing people and places in a sort of blur without detail or is there no visual input at all?

Tell us your latest dream and we can all have a go at analysing it (I love analysing dreams and spouting a load of plausible sounding psychobabble!)

4 more days and I am free ...giggle

Ok Em I am a part of my dream I am there and the action is happening to me, but I don't see the action I just know it's happening. kind of as if I were telling a story about myself or narrating what was happening to me ( I should also note that when reading a book I form no mental images and do not " see" the characters. I can hear them, but can't picture a mental image of what is happening. Also can't do the thing where someone describes something to you and you can " see" it. Visual is my tertiary processing format. I am primarily auditory with tactile as a secondary.)

Latest dream ( trying to remember ) I dreamed that I was stuck inside this building and some supernatural creature was trying to hurt the people inside, but I got irritated and told the creature off and made some plan ( sorry dream's a bit fuzzy now) to deal with the creature( kind of put the creature in time out) Then my mom arrived and told me we had to shop for my wedding dress, but that since I was getting married a second time it should be pale blue.. then I woke up:).... so have at it, analysis please?

ZEEK

Is it just me or did we lose some posts from yesterday? Oh well if this goes through I'm happy. It's been sad not being able to post at all.

Zeek is sleepy!! On Monday I went all crazy multi-tasking no time off style. I worked a full day and near the end a person was still having an issue with some work that was due that day. She had to run her kid to the dentist and we agreed to log in from home later to work on the problem. So, I went home and ate dinner and then logged right back in and worked with her til like 11:30pm until everything was done. That's not the crazy part though. This month I'm trying to get a lot of poker playing time in to get a bonus from the site I play on. So, I was on my computer playing 8 tables of poker at the same time that I was on my work laptop working with this lady. To add to the complexity one of the tables was different than the others cause when I logged in it popped right up that I was already registered in a tournament that night from doing well in fantasy poker. That was like a 1000+ player tournament and I got 10th in that. So, apparently I do pretty well even when distracted. hehe...not that people in a free tournament play super well but still that was fun.

Anyway that was a heck of a way to wear myself out to start the week. blah. Didn't even get to bed early last night to recover. Hopefully tonight I can at least get to bed at a reasonable hour.

What's new with everybody else?

Ok your best bet is actually a volleyball net ( check with neighbors and such) and it's about $10 for a dozen plain ( non mylar and no decorations on the balloon) balloons filled with helium:)

Wow sounds like a sweet and fun thing to do. Any particular reason why?

Started probably 2 years ago when I dog sat for her and TPed the whole apartment throughtout the week. Basically one roll per day :-)

Then of course the backlash after a cat sitting session.

The doggie passed on since then so no key this time but I figure I should still do something.

Other suggestion: Go to a party store and ask about the decorative fish nets for a "typical" kistchy "hawaiian luau". They should be cheap.

Torn rotator cuff? YEOWCH! (Please say you had an aide [preferably male -- simply because they're built to better physically handle this type of 'manhandling'] or I'd say that the school system has some serious explaining to do.)

So if "nice" is soulless, what's "Huh. Sounds okay." then?

No clue on a container for a soul...something that's heart-like maybe (heart-haped, used as one, etc.)?

*Waves to copilot* Long time no see. Glad to see that things are looking up for you.

*giggles wildly at the animated gifs that FMF has posted* As for the "passing over singles ads without a picture" question -- not really, since it's one of the criteria that you're using. (Hope you don't end up with the guys who think "single woman" == "desperate woman who wants to hear how 'big' and 'insatiable' I am"...)

*grows slightly misty-eyed* Ah yes...the good old days of "blink and you've missed two full threads worth of postings on the imponderables"...

Money as an aphrodisiac -- I think that it's more of a "more $money$$/'wealth' == better able to take care and support a future family...", but that's my guess. Would I hit on someone just for their money? No.

Glad to hear that your horse is doing better RugBug. Bummer that the riding is theraputic walks only.

Anjl: New kitchen? Ohhh...shiny. :)

NVG, nice quote, but some things thought of by others should never be shared (and even the artists would probably try to avert their eyes on it).

Hey Ems, I've found that stress+coworker issues+free time = needing a few days lose the teacher-version of ADHD (if you're lucky). Hope it worked itself off.

*pulls a properly chilled, polished 'Dew from the Bar-and-Grill thread and a couple of ice cream sammiches and leaves it in the comfy shadowy corner for the ninjakitty*

here's a ponder: it's amazing how a baby can suddenly mature someone and completely change their attitude.

i just came from a cookout for my cousin (his son is six weeks old and ADORABLE), and unlike the last time we occupied the same space, there was not one disgusted look or snide remark thrown about the whole night. he actually had a smile on his face, and he was so cute holding that baby. amazing. ^_^

Looks like I missed everyone. So busy lately tring to finish markers for sale and the like and now I met the guy setting up a 26000 square foot warehouse with a LARGE paintball field and no less than three shoot houses for LEO training and competitions. I'm really looking to try making money (or at least break even) off of my fellow junkies.

Yeah, strange people at the house leaving with suspicious packages and less money, strange noises and smells, people in and out at all waking hours leaving with goofy smiles...

Yeah. I might be a drug dealer.

Hugs for all. HEY! to GG whom we haven't seen for a while. Glomps for the islander teacher. Love and misses for all of you.

Dark Knight was good. I don't know if it was great. It had plot holes you could drive a caravan of trucks through. It was really long. The action scenes were sorta meh. Though I still liked it overall.
