(Reposted with great difficulty from previous thread:)

Many thanks to those Big Damn Heroes who are adding votes for Ponderosa and Bonanza! Bonanza, in particular, was fallin' short of the totals they were gonna need to reach their goal of 500k; with your help, they've had a great boost, and stand to make their goal, if we keep this up. It's the neighborly thing to do to help 'em out, and all it costs is an additional click or two when you vote. It'll give us a little something extra to share in celebrating when the Poll ends. Xie-xie!

Firefly is now 1 day BEHIND schedule!

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 27.64 (30.99) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting (as with everything else in this Poll, this time will fluctuate).

Our ultimate goal, 750,000, is 29,355 (30,389) votes, and 28.39 (31.49) days away! With a bad voting day, yesterday, we're falling behind, and we need to maintain a daily average of 1,048 (1,126) votes to stay on track.

At this point, every vote we fail to cast is lost forever; we won't always have "tomorrow" to make it up! We're approaching the end of a marathon race, getting ready to sprint toward the finish, and we all need to push harder, to stay on pace to make 750,000 votes!

Firefly is 175,104 (174,631) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #16 show Doctor Who 173,922. We've finally reached a 175,000 vote lead! We still don't hold the highest lead of a show over its closest competition. That distinction currently belongs to Bonanaza, with a lead of 175,287 (174,972) over Gunsmoke. We should overtake that lead, tomorrow!

Let's keep up the hard burn, show everyone our Browncoat Fan Power, maintain our records, and clinch our final milestone!

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble, you can try an alternate address instead.

You can vote for more as many Top 40 shows as you like, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Download the FlyVote voting timer, a NEW version of the program. It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc

Votes are counted per network IP, so, don't go to the library or your office and vote hourly on each computer on the subnet, or all votes will be thrown out; multiple votes on rotating IPs will likewise be rejected.

Top two shows as of this morning:

Total votes Firefly: 720,645 (719,611)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,034 (965) times, 69 more than the previous day. Better, but still below what we need to stay on target. We're within 4 weeks of the end of the Poll, and we need to keep the daily votes up!

Total votes Xena: 545,541 (544,980)

Yesterday, Xenites voted 561 (477) times, 84 more than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 473 (488) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

We got our next banner, for 720,000 votes, today! Shiny as leavin' Reaver territory!

7,921,431 (7,906,794) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/21/08. Yesterday, 14,637 (13,522) votes were cast.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately!)...

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 525 (500) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 422 (386) votes, yesterday, in 114.12 (103.99) days.

The Colonials need urgent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Please lend 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 602 (565) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farscape.

#9 show Angel got 559 (532) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Jericho by the end of the Poll. Angel's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #10 show The X-Files. Angel is 36.02 (38.9) days from the Hall of Fame, about 8 (8) days behind. In order to enter the HoF before the Poll ends, Angel needs a daily average of at least 720 (767) votes.

#13 show Babylon 5 got 390 (350) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Little House on the Prairie by the end of the Poll. B5's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #14 show La Femme Nikita.

#24 show Dark Shadows got 326 (326) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #23 show Star Trek: The Original Series, which got 280 (260) votes, in 34.24 (24.56) days!

Our friends, the Barnabas Browncoats, need your help if they are to make this last pass before the Poll ends!

#34 Blood Ties got 499 (454) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #33 show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which got 259 (228) votes, yesterday, in 31.24 (34.23) days.

The Fitzroyals are gonna need our help to advance, again, before the Poll ends!

#41 show (#1 in the Nominations Poll) Moonlight got 1,338 (1,243) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #40 show, Queer as Folk, which got 148 (137) votes, yesterday, in 2.16 (3.4) days, to enter the Top 40!

Yours in the cause,

-Raycheetah =^[.]^=

P.S.: I snerched this quote about us, 'cause I am never disappointed in my shiny Browncoat Brothers and sisters when opportunity arises to prove it:

"Once again, the Browncoats have proven to be both an intelligent and generous group of people in a world where each quality sometimes seems to be in very short supply." - Chris Buchanan

Less than 4 weeks remain to vote, and Firefly is now EXACTLY on schedule!

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

An estimated 23.88 (27.64) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting.

Our ultimate goal, 750,000, is 28,134 (29,355) votes, and 23.04 (28.39) days away! We need to maintain a daily average of 1,173 (1,048) votes to stay on track. At this point, every vote we fail to cast is lost forever; we won't always have "tomorrow" to make it up!

Firefly is 175,753 (175,104) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #16 show Doctor Who 174,382. We finally hold the Longest Lead, as of today! We claimed that distinction from Bonanza, which has a lead of 175,744 (175,287) over Gunsmoke.

Let's keep up the hard burn, show everyone our Browncoat Fan Power, and clinch our final milestone!

Mornin' stats BOMP!

Xie-xie!

Also, Jericho is this close (94 votes!) to the Hall of Fame. Let's help 'em out, as they've started helpin' us, and share in a little of their triumph with them!

A little more than 3 weeks remain to vote, and Firefly is now 4 days AHEAD of schedule!

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

An estimated 21.18 (23.88) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting.

Our ultimate goal, 750,000, is 26,617 (28,134) votes, and 17.55 (23.04) days away! We need to maintain a daily average of 1,210 (1,173) votes to stay on track. At this point, every vote we fail to cast is lost forever; we won't always have "tomorrow" to make it up!

Firefly is 176,705 (175,753) votes ahead of Xena, and finally hold the Longest Lead! We claimed that distinction from Bonanza, which has a lead of 176,278 (175,744) over Gunsmoke.

Let's keep up the hard burn, show everyone our Browncoat Fan Power, and clinch our final milestone!

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

Total votes Firefly: 723,383 (721,866)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,517 (1,221) times, 296 more than the previous day. AWESOME SHINY! We're within 3 weeks of the end of the Poll, and, with the help of all our friends (now including the Bonanzais and Jericho Rangers), we need to keep the daily votes up!

Total votes Xena: 546,678 (546,113)

Yesterday, Xenites voted 565 (572) times, 7 fewer than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 952 (649) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

We'll get our next banner, for 725,000 votes, in another 1,617 (3,134) votes, and 1.07 (2.57) days!

7,955,981 (7,937,862) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/23/08. Yesterday, 18,119 (16,431) votes were cast.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately!)...

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 679 (611) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 489 (466) votes, yesterday, in 60.09 (80.05) days.

The Colonials need urgent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Please lend 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 746 (662) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farscape.

#9 show Angel got 708 (630) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Jericho by the end of the Poll. Angel's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #10 show The X-Files. Angel is 26.55 (30.96) days from the Hall of Fame, about 5 (7) days behind. In order to enter the HoF before the Poll ends, Angel needs a daily average of at least 855 (813) votes.

#13 show Babylon 5 got 516 (441) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Little House on the Prairie by the end of the Poll. B5's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #14 show La Femme Nikita.

#24 show Dark Shadows got 388 (380) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #23 show Star Trek: The Original Series, which got 352 (325) votes, in 41.22 (27.64) days!

Our friends, the Barnabas Browncoats, need your help if they are to make this last pass before the Poll ends!

#34 Blood Ties got 612 (592) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #33 show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which got 293 (263) votes, yesterday, in 21.47 (21.79) days.

Thanks for lending your help to the Fitzroyals!

Moonlight got 1,848 (1,437) votes, yesterday, and passed Queer as Folk, which got 145 (167) votes, yesterday, to enter the Top 40! Moonlight is the new #40 show, today!

Congratulations to the Moonlight voters!

Oh, they were just regular frozen french fries. I sprinkled two (15 fry) servings of them with garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, and grated italian cheese, microwaved 'em for two minutes, put a half cup of shredded cheddar cheese over 'em, nuked 'em for another 45 seconds, and BAM! Quick 'n' easy cheese fries.

There are plenty of things you can nuke, that don't have nuke instructions. Just gotta sort out the time.

Glad you enjoyed them, VOMP!

Also, Jericho has entered the Hall of Fame, today, and got the exclusive all-day banner (if you click on the Hall of Fame link at the top of the main voting page, you can see it with Morse code and music! You can also download banners (including Firefly) there, as well! Congratulations to our friends, the Jericho Rangers!

A little more than 3 weeks remain to vote, and Firefly is now 1 day AHEAD of schedule!

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

An estimated 21.86 (21.18) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting.

Time to stop looking behind us, and focus on what lies ahead!

Total votes Firefly: 724,640 (723,383)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,257 (1,517) times, 260 fewer than the previous day. Not so shiny, though we're still on target. We're within 3 weeks of the end of the Poll, and, with the help of all our friends (now including the Bonanzais and Jericho Rangers), we need to keep the daily votes up!

We'll get our next banner, for 725,000 votes, in another 360 (1,617) votes, and .29 (1.07) days! Look for it, tomorrow!

7,973,880 (7,955,981) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/24/08. Yesterday, 17,899 (18,119) votes were cast.

Yesterday's votes dropped significantly for many shows; I have a theory that the delay in the morning while Moonlight was added to the roster may have thrown some people off who didn't return to voting, either until much later, or at all, yesterday. Hopefully, today's votes will be better, reflected in tomorrow's scores.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? We accomplish more together than we would separately!)...

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 549 (679) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 473 (489) votes, yesterday, in 149.22 (60.09) days.

The Colonials need urgent help, if they are to advance again before the Poll ends! Please lend 'em a hand!

#6 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 700 (746) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass BSG by the end of the Poll. Buffy's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #7 show Farscape.

#9 show Angel got 661 (708) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Jericho by the end of the Poll. Angel's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #10 show The X-Files. Angel is 27.44 (26.55) days from the Hall of Fame, about 6 (5) days behind. In order to enter the HoF before the Poll ends, Angel needs a daily average of at least 825 (855) votes.

#13 show Babylon 5 got 420 (516) votes, yesterday, not receiving enough votes to pass Little House on the Prairie by the end of the Poll. B5's numbers are still sufficient to hold off #14 show La Femme Nikita.

#24 show Dark Shadows got 361 (388) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #23 show Star Trek: The Original Series, which got 306 (352) votes, in 25.98 (41.22) days!

Our friends, the Barnabas Browncoats, need your help if they are to make this last pass before the Poll ends!

#34 Blood Ties got 600 (612) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #33 show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which got 275 (293) votes, yesterday, in 20.07 (21.47) days.

Thanks for lending your help to the Fitzroyals!

#40 show Moonlight got 1,920 (1,848) votes, yesterday, and is on track to catch #39 show Northern Exposure, which got 252 (274) votes, in .58 (1.68) days. Moonlight will also pass #38 show Alias, which got 259 votes. Moonlight will be the new #38 show, tomorrow!
