Is it just me or does anyone else out there refer to places of employment as the alliance?

It just seems to me that they all want one to conform and any independent thinking or action is looked upon as wrong even if it brings about a better outcome.

Just my observations.
Any thoughts?

Are you working for the right people? Frankly, I'd be happier with less pwoer and responsibility but it does feel good to make an impact ever day. People live because we are there for them. That's important. Took a while to get here but it's been worth it.

Look for another employer or another skill. Or volunteer and have that be the difference in people's lives. Just do it.

I would say big corporations is the 'alliance' (-like). It's different for everyone else.

I would have to say that no, I am not working for the right people.
While I am working towards what I consider a more desirable job, I am simply sitting at this one and allowing my mind to wander around in my bored little work space.

In truth I would call anything that threatens my independence the "alliance" and I have been in much worse situations...take a look at my profile (the marines section) but all in all I must say that my life is a direct result of the choices I have made and I more or less refer to the Honda service department that employs me as the alliance for the soul purpose of a quiet laugh within my own mind.

I was simply curious as to whether or not any of you do the same and I thank you for your input.
hope to continue discussing other topics with you over the course of my time here.

And one more thing...please please please ignore my spelling and grammar as my new little girl has kept me up for the past three nights...a trend that I see will continue.
(But I would not trade her for anything in the verse)

thank you.

Well, I teach at the local high school, so i am working for the alliance directly. I am kind of the inside man, trying to spread browncoaty goodness to young minds.
Blessings from the north.
