Seeing four of the actors from Firefly was fantastic! The lines to see them were hours and hours long - PLUS the crowd was so large that D*C staff had to move the room into a larger venue! Nathan Fillion said, "I want you all to notice that we're now in the big room." (huge applause and yelling at this point). "Not that not so big stupid room," he finished. They were hilarious.
The 76th got more recognition during the parade this year (at least most seemed to know we were browncoats. I was amazed at the percentage of the D*C crowd who were obvious Firefly fans and even overheard one guy saying, "Gee, Firefly and Serenity are HUGE this year just HUGE!" Heh.
Now to the unpacking, laundry - working on next year. Wish I could have met all of you - but meeting Ray and Mrs. Ray was definitely a major highlight of my trip!
