After some good fortune over the weekend and possibly better fortune selling some PB stuff this week I may have enough fundage payday to complete the build on my utility rifle. It is basically this:
http://www.dpmsinc.com/firearms/firearm.aspx?id=47
My bud had the barreled upper that I have to clean and check and all I need to do is build a lower receiver, zero my optic, and possibly Duracoat in a custom color/pattern.

Hello Kitty perhaps?

Then what good is having a cat? No lost homework excuse there.

Unless of course the cat does something bad on the homework. Don't think the teacher would be asking for proof then.

I guess cats a good for something other than footwarmers or sweet and sour chicken.

Odds! My goodness, it's been awhile. Nice to see you around these parts. ;)

Cats? Cats are good for planning a surprise attack while you sleepily walk from the bedroom to the bathroom. They are good for trying to jump on your lap while you are doing your business (which has wisely resulted in locking the cat out of the bathroom). Cats are good for using your leg as a scratching post while you are making business phone calls making it almost impossible to finish sentences without yelping in pain. At least that's what my cat is good for. :D

Not a ponder, but a "help the Bug fill the 66 GB she has left on her iPod." Seems I always go to iTunes and then blank on what I want. So, what gimme some of your favorite songs. Silly, dorky, fun, brooding, whatever...Clue me in on some good music. :D

Go get They Might Be Giants - Flood

It's all funny goodness.

Cats are good for bug hunting. I've found a couple cock roach corpses around my apartment as well as watched my kitty take out a june bug. That was impressive. I thought she was just being an idiot trying to jump and catch the thing. Then whack! June bug falls to the floor stunned. *bite* no more june bug. Impressive...most impressive.

Social Distortion

Goodie Mob

Those are a few I could think of. But that is just what is going through my head right now.

Yes. Yes it is. I've got "Flood", "Appollo 18" and "They Might Be Giants". Saw them at the House of Blues a few years ago and it was a great show.

Anything else? What about your guilty pleasures? Something like Brittany Spears, "Toxic" or some such. ;)

What about specific songs?

I downloaded "Don't Come Around Here No More," by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last week. SUCH a great song and one I have somewhere on cassette. Heh.

Yeah for CK! This is what I was looking for. You listed a few songs that I was like "oh yeah, I wanted to get that one." and there are some new ones to check out. My top rated playlist is getting ridiculously large (464 songs) but it's my go to list. I can put it on random and no that I won't be going 'argh, not this song?"

I'd suggest anything by The Donnas

I didn't pin him down because the kids primary motive for the behvaior is attention. So the more attention given, the worse the behavior. I'm training the teacher in an extinction ( ignoring all behavior except the desired behavior and tons of attention for appropriate behavior) So today was what's called an extinction burst. The kid uber misbehaves to see if he can draw you in and make you respond to the bad behavior ...

Anyway long day:)

I'm betting Firefly is going to be the key to them looking at me like I wear a star trek uniform around town after work. That'll teach em for making everyone present about who they are. Well, I can't really recommend songs, because I love so many of them, but I can certainly recommend bands!

Heavy Metal type stuffs (which you're probably not looking for right now, but are really worth listening to when you're in the mood!!)

Blind Guardian, and Demons and Wizards (same band, some player shuffling)
Iced Earth
and Kamelot

Korn is also good, kinda in the same area but I have no idea what it's "officially" labeled as...

And for some Celtic dancy music that's bright and bouncy- The Chieftans (instrumental group) are really good at that, and I'd try celtic music in general...
