Well, even assuming that there are /some/ folks on at least one other show voting team padding the vote (and I've mentioned this about TV Tally in the past), what do y'all want to do? Quit entirely, keep playing legitimately and win a legitimate victory, or turn their own methods against 'em and try to beat 'em at their own game? I had quit TV Tally entirely for quite some while after I learned that it was easily cheated on; it wasn't worth the extra effort while TV Vote was going on, but it's something to do, now. We could simply keep voting and measure our own, legitimate efforts and ignore the results we see from the other side; I have been watching this, and I think that those who may be cheating have at least learned subtlety, and are only padding the score enough to stay just ahead of us, now. Or (and I wouldn't seriously advocate this course) we could cheat. I happen to know how they do it, though I don't use the method, myself. Then TV Tally truly WOULD be a waste of our time. I suggest we keep voting, without cheating, and simply ignore Jericho's score. You can legitimately vote once per six hours for each of three shows; anything beyond that is cheating, including using a cheat to "make up" a vote you weren't able to make on time. You can legitimately vote once for each of three different shows, once every 6 hours, though it's amazingly simple to squeeze in more votes, should one care to. Me, I just figure we can just vote honorably, and disregard the "success" of such as don't scruple so much. Still without power at the house :( Power co. is saying Saturday now. I'll believe it when it comes on. Waiting for parts to come in so's I can get the saw running again (chain oiler pump failed). Oh well, it needed a good cleaning & sharpening anyway. It's kinda neat to hear all the kids outside playing in the evening. Mini-Me has decided that without electricity, but with running water, we're at approximately the technology level of the Roman Empire while at home (but with copper pipes instead of lead ones). Vumped through the list. ----------
