Morning MSB!

*gets MSB's Tea*

So I haev a food ponder.....

Is it possible to become addicted to Gummi Bears? I ask cuz I think I am. I bought 1.5 lbs yesterday at lunch and while I only ate a few yesterday I have been unable to stop eating them since 8 this morning. Craving is not the word here.

hmmm well that's an interesting addiction...but I'd say it's possible to become really attached to a food, but not specifically addicted... buy hey sugar craving?? Maybe you're pregnant

*gee wanders into the bar, pulls out his magic wand and sends a stream of fog out the end obscuring the view for everyone*

*wanders round the bar, occasionally the words, 'nauticus totalis!' can be heard*

*with a final wave of the wand the fog disappears*

Behold, the bar transformed into the galley deck of a pirate ship, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There even be a plan for people to walk out in the enchanted beer garden that magically is now the top deck.

Watch out for the poop deck, not sure it came out right.

YYAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*wanders off his workd done*

PS, FLT, up the duff is a wonderfully charming way of saying pregnant

PPS, just remembered about the whole ninja v pirate thing, you do know it's just talk like a pirate day, you know HK, I don't want any nasty sudden stabbing death please, I'd say you wouldn't kill me on my birthday but ninjas care not for such matters

0157h, I think the day has passed.

I don't think he's the first, although I always thought of that particular sentiment as being along the lines of 'life is a terminal disease'.

Technically accurate, but utterly pointless as anything more then a fine example of smugness, but then, that's kinda the point of house I guess

(Walks in with a shuriken and an eyepatch looking very confused)

...well they are, technically.. but they're cute little parasites!

Speaking of shish kebab:

You remember that nurse I can't stop bitching about?

I can stop bitching.

Yesterday she was fired and escorted off the premises. (I missed the drama and I'm quite happy about it.) I still have all 4 tires and no threatening phone calls. Good day!

Also: my father sat up on his own today and has been allowed solid foods, and they've ruled out stroke. Yay!

Now, if we can just manage to get that gorram chicken coop built this weekend my life will be much simpler and more relaxed.

We had our first frost last night. Here comes winter! (Honneeeyy.. where did we put the shovvells...?)

Barkeep! A coffee to stave of withdrawl headaches, another to ward off migraines, and a really really super humongous pina colada because pineapple and coconut go very well together.

Please.

Yarrr.

(key word being parasites)

Ninjas are better, since they're sneaky and have cool weaponry while Pirates are stuck on a boat and are loud and noisy and not at all sneaky.

glad your father's getting better, SR!

Hi Whimsy!

We're going to be working on that darned chicken coop for those darned chickens today.

(Chickens wear through and need mending frequently!)

feeeeelinnnggg siiiiiiiilllllyyy... need more coffee.

It's a beautiful sunny day and I'd rather be doing any of fifteen other things, but needs must get the nose to the grindstone or all the chicken raising efforts will be for nought.

Here MsB, let me take those gummis from you and put them in a very safe place.
(meet you behind the fern and we'll divvy them up!)

If it were not for caffeine, there would be no internet.
As a father, I support the mass consumption of caffeine, rather than alcohol, less dangerous for kids.
Brain hurts, gotta go get some Dew fixage.

Since the only way I will grow is in the stomach now, I think I am safe. I made it to 6'2", taller than my dad by 5 inches or so, and my mom is a foot shorter than me, and has been since I was 14. So I got tall jeans from somewhere, not my parents. Must have had mutant ancestors.

Not always the case, I drank tea and coffee in pretty large quantities from the age of about eight to the present day, I'm not a giant, but I make six feet. My mum only just clears five, although my dad is the same height as me, so I figure the caffiene didn't do too much damage ^^
