I'm still on high from the Election turnout...now I see this!!

How can it possibly get any better?!

Sorry if this has been posted already.

That was cool to see - thanks! The sad truth for me is, any allegiance/fan-boy-ness I feel for Joss stems damn near solely from Firefly/Serenity (and a little from his work on the last Alien movie - still chuckle when I think about Winona trying to drink w/ boxing gloves on ). I tried, about 6 years ago, to get into Buffy...saw a couple of eps (and in fairness one or both of those eps may not have been the cream of the Buffy crop) and decided that the storyline was too far along for me to ever catch up.

I'll give Dollhouse a shot - I owe Joss that much simply for Firefly - but it's gonna need to show me more than its just being a WhedonWork if it's on opposite anything I'm already into.

It was like that when we got here!

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking it's got more in common with Alias than with Buffy and Angel anyway...with the exception of Eliza of course.

I gotta say I'm still not impressed. I'm betting I'll like the show but if it weren't for Joss and Eliza there's zero chance I'd be tuning in. Nothing about this show is catchy.

That's a constant problem with Joss. How to explain to someone in a 30 second pitch why his shows are good.

TRAVELER

You can't expect someone to produce winners everytime they come out, but this Dollhouse is going to be more then the premise we are introduced to. Buffy went through some radical seasons that were unexpected and I see no reason not to expect the same with Dollhouse. We could have some deadly serious episodes and some along the lines of Chuck. The premise can open with a lot of doors.

One thing I expect is you better start watching it from the begining or you might get Lost.

Fox is obviously not behind this show...at all. It's been moved to Friday and is being paired with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as the lead-in.

Bleh...
