It is so refreshing to hear an industry professional speak out openly and honestly about the bad decision making of a major network. The Fox network's mishandling of Firefly and this year with Wonderfalls is inexcusable. Then you have The WB giving the brilliant show Angel the ax because "we have to do more reality, we don't have room for Angel...". Yeah, like we don't have enough "reality" garbage on the air. In the excellent musical episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Joss posed the question "Where do we go from here?". That is the question that I imagine most TV actors, writers, directors, and fans of quality scripted programming are asking themselves today. I guess we will have to turn to the movies and to the cable networks that are still willing to invest in a well written show. Good luck David Greenwalt, Marti Noxon, and Douglas Petrie. And I don't want to think about a television season without Joss Whedon or Tim Minear, that's scarier than the singing on American Idol!
