In the spirit of all the things that Xmas should really be about I say "Bring on the toys".

So what were your five faves from your childhood years (up to about 16 years of age) and if you could have any one of them now to 'play' with, which would that be.

1: Star Wars figures/vehicles. I had loads and they would be worth a small fortune if I still had them. No regrets though. Honest.
2: Lego. Used it to build SW sets and destructible vehicles.
3: Little plastic soldiers. The ones that were about 15-20mm high.
4: Playdoh. Loved this stuff as a nipper.
5: Crayola crayons. I would have a nasty habit of drawing on anything and everything that I possibly could. Not much has changed.

And the one I would have now would be: Lego.
I think of all the stuff I could build now that I have more money and experience.

And over to the rest of you....

Hmm.

1 - Micronauts, at one time up to a point, I had every single piece made, Biotron, Acroyer, the ships, all of it.

2 - Tente, like lego, but slightly edgier with a few more options than lego had at the time.

3 - Erector sets, building stuff was just awesome.

4 - AFX racing sets, pure awesomeness, still is.

5 - Atari 2600, hail to the king which started the whole home console revolution, saved me endless quarters.

No matter...

At (or before) 16 I loved me my
1)Planet Of The Apes action figures (By Mego, I believe)
2) my Enterprise models (new one every year at least)
3) my hot wheels
4) my Seaview models
5) my flying sub models

Do models constitute toys in this context? I played with them...
