Neko... have someone do it for you.. If you're stuck, unstick yourself with a little help. Get a bunch of applications and have a friend fill them out and send them in. Or have the friend do the applications and set up the interviews. Then you have to go 'cause you've involved someone else. HUGS

This is what I get for not keeping up with the imponderables for a few days. So many ponders.

1.) CK, I think it was crude and he mentions that, but it's also an analogy that a lot of guys will nod their heads to. It pretty well fits the bill. Getting to play a beta is something you do just so you can say you did it. It might be a little fun, but that's not really the point. Which goes right back to his analogy.

I don't know if this is the real issue or not, but in my mind he's basically talking about hooking up with a nasty chick at a party. From the guy's point of view that isn't using the chick. From the guy's point of view if all the guys at the party already know she's the easy, nasty chick then she should know it too. If she knows her reputation then she can't be too upset that a hookup is just a hookup and nothing more with her.

I probably didn't articulate that very well, but that's kinda how I see it.

2.) MsA, I think about money in terms of "buy ins". Which is how many chips you "buy in" for at a poker table. Usually if you say something like you're up "3 buy ins" then you're having a good day.

3.) FMF, cause you haven't been watching enough How I Met Your Mother?
