Heh. I purposely put myself in harm's way this time of year by frequenting malls and just lingering, taking up room. Mall of America this time of year? INSANEly fun with ultra extended hours. XD

I could see that as fun (been there once before) but the Mall we have here barely qualifies as a Mall. 1 floor, 4 Big Box stores and maybe 50 little stores. Pretty dull.

Although it used to be awesome when I had my Leather Trench. Would walk down the halls and it was like I was parting the Red Sea. People would just move out of the way!

Minor flaw though. You would have to hack my account to change my moves as well to accomplish your "dominance". Otherwise people would question your victory

STINKINGROSE

Is it bad that I got the medical nerd humor and snerked?

So Thursday I get a migraine at just the wrongest possible time and shit happens at work which leads to a crappy day on top of nausea and headache and near blinding sensory input. I get about three and a half very broken hours of sleep that night, knots in stomach from work induced anxiety tossed in for free.
The next day goes a little better, but I had to make the full day with a post-migraine hangover (all the unpleasant sensations and fuzzy headedness of a regular hangover without having to go to the trouble of drinking alcohol!).
Got home, loaded the car, took a shower and napped until hubby woke me at midnight (by prior arrangement). I got in the car and was on the road by 1am.
Had to stop several times to nap, couldn't really eat anything yet. (Helpful hints: teriyaki beef jerky and Coke stay down pretty well, as do multigrain bagels from Tim Horton's!)
Arrived at event about 3 hours later than anticipated, about 12:30pm.
Participated in event until it was called on account of the snow I brought with me to Ripley, WV. They usually have 50 degrees this time of year. Oops. Decided that discretion was the better part of valor and hied me homeward at 3:30 instead of spending the night as planned and risking being stuck in WV instead of getting home for work on Monday. Finally gave up due to fatigue, worsening road and weather conditions, and stupid ass drivers, around Akron, OH. Spent the night in a Red Roof Inn. (Room clean and pleasant, rates reasonable!)
Got a good night's sleep from about 8pm until someitme after 6am. Hopped in the car and hit the road again. Little ick with the snow in Ohio, then not bad in PA, then unbelievably nice roads in NY until I got about 20 miles out from Syracuse. It started snowing. The roads were clear until I got within five miles of home. I made it into the driveway after skidding past it on the first try. (chagrin)
I am sitting down with a cup of tea and NOT DRIVING now.
I think I may be able to keep some food down at this point. Denny's grits and hashbrowns were OK in very small doses around 10ish. I've been afraid to try anything else, but I'm out of jerky.

So, how was everybody else's weekend?!

Thanks Sneaky Lass. I lost the faith just before the half. They had those 2 4th downs that they did not get. Yeah right after the first one they picked off Ferrotte but they still should have tried for 3 there as well as that QB sneak right at the end. I mean WTF???? No way you could sneak past that D-line's Bulk! And as if this was a good enough reason, "We went for it on 4th down because we needed touchdowns not field goals" BULLSHIT! you lost by 4 you ass! If you had kicked those you would have won by 2! Simple Fucking Math!!!

STINKINGROSE

I forgot to mention the part where I got run off the road by a semi in Ohio. Near miss.

No, I went in to work. They've done fine without me before. I've called in sick before. It's no big deal (partly because I've tried to make sure that the clinic *can* run without me, none of this "indispensable" crap) when I'm out. Makes getting vacation easier.

It's OK, I got to find out today that we actually have a new schedule set up for Jan 5. We go to longer days. I will be working 3 12 hour shifts per week, and getting paid 40 hours for 36 of work, keeping full time bennies and vaycay. Yay! Two more days off during the week, and since we're not open 12 hours on Fridays I'll have them off. Yay! I'll be 7am-8pm with two half hour breaks. Could be worse.

Never challenge worse.

There's always worse.

Yurs me luvvies, thur's alluss wors.
