Just found Firefly

I've been a sci-fi and star trek fan for years, but I'd never heard of Firefly until a few months ago. I finally checked it out this past week and I'm amazed, entralled and in mourning for it's demise. I rented the DVDs of the series. I quickly fell deep into their reality and what a fun time it was. All I have left is the Serenity movie. I'm almost reluctant to see it because I know when it's over... it's really over. I'm not sure what Fox exec slammed this show into the ground, but I hope he or she regrets it every minute. This show was special.

The Fox execs of that time, and some still now, do not regret it, and they still try to justify their decision. Primary culprit was Sandy Grushaw, who has gone on to other places, moving higher and higher.

BTW, Serenity in on Sci Fi channel Jan 3.

Welcome! I hope you've read the comics... there will be more to come,
and I still hope for some webisodes or other ways of telling more stories from the Fireflyverse w/the actors we love.
