Morning all,

today I shall be your... well I was going to say fairy of weekend joy but don't know if there are male fairies, Oh never, mind, Friday is here the weekend approaches, I went home and fell asleep pretty much straight away last night so got about ooh, 11-12 hrs sleep, little groggy this morning but picking so I wish to bring joy to you all!

I'm a keeping my fingers crossed for a good stunned for HK, I'm a loving PR's H2G2 reference and would just like to say, "Here I am, brain the size of a planet..."

I seem to have unbridled joy for human kind, it can't last so take advantage whilst you can.

Free drinks for all!

*magics up drinks for everyone held in stasis, sets up a barbecue in the enchanted beer garden and stands in the corner juggling geese, sadly soft toy geese, I'm not that good a juggling*

Good review = good.

I always seem to perform to expectations, but I'm not sure what the heck they are.

I'm still not looking forward to the meeting which has not happened yet, and I want to get it over and done.

I'm trying the 12 hour/3 day thing for the next six months to see if it makes me less unhappy. If I do not perceive morale as having improved at that point I will have fulfilled all contractual obligations and will be sending out resumes. Outta there. On to something new.

The hospital which is about five miles from my home has posted two positions in Labor and Delivery, but they also are asking for experience. I have enthusiasm, not so much on the been there done that side of things. OB nursing can be a bitch to get into because the nurses hold onto their jobs FOREVER and do not leave that often.

Six months. I have given it six months to improve. In the meantime I'll be boning up on all the stuff I've forgotten in the last 4 years of non-use.

Oh, I'll have a beer please?

Em whats with the new bar?

well for all those keeping score I sat my exam on Tuesday, it went alright I guess not convinced I pass or that I failed.

In other news I watched the first episode of 24 and no idea what was going on, because according to friends I need to watch the movie first.

I have also released that two things are missing from my life.

1. Is a girl called Summer Glau.

2. Is the show T:TSCC

My sister informed me today that On St valentines day I will kind of be spending it with Summer as that will be when i can watch the first episode of the back 9 of season two of T:TSCC.

Does anyone else think she has too much time on her hands?

*ofers FLT a "fun" food allergy -- bell peppers!*

Ugh, I hate when I find out that something I ate has bell peppers in it. (Stupid food allergy -- lucky me, though, 'cause all I'm doing right now is itching from the miniscule amount that was in the sample I had) *sigh*

Kel: *innocent* Me? Need to be watched by you? I'd never do something so nefarious that you'd need to worry about me.1

NVG: See, that's where you're doing it wrong. You need to get the fun gold and silver paint pens and do what the kids did in intermediate school years ago....use 'em as blow pens to decorate things.

MsA: Forgot to respond to the 8-year old...yep. Some parent should have been forbidden to procreate. (What was he doing in school with spoiled milk btw?)
I've said it before, and will say it again: Teaching should take its slogan from the PeaceCorps.... 'Cause it truly is "The toughest job you'll ever love." ('course sometimes I think that love == delusion == mild insanity.)

SR: Good luck with a) the morale increasing and/or b) getting the OB nursing position (whichever one works out better for you).

1. I'd never be mean to you Kel, teacher-cruel, maybe, but never truly mean...

Well thank you and I truly mean that, sadly Alien vs Predator sucked, it could have been so good but sadly, the predator's were not fully fleshed out characters yet, and they did not talk English as with the end of Predator 2.

There is a few films I think that work with for any event. They are: Blade Runner, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, T2 and of course Serenity.

All the best films pose but one true question.

What does it mean to be human?

Been on this here world 22 years now and I feel am no closer than i was some 18 years ago.

I own mammoth on DVD but that's just for Summer cause I was once mega obsessed with her at 21 years old!

You should ask Freelancer she helped me through that, am surprised she's not around she's usually around this time of day? night? whatever.

Not seen any of the others ones I don't think, deep blue see was ok but am a lover of film, mostly from the direction and writing side.

I even have a short few scenes in script form with a characters named Adam and Summer, to be honest its not what you think and its prob some of my best work to date.

I made it in homage to Heat, you ever see that movie?
