I was just turned on to Firefly this past fall. A friend lent us the series, and I really had no idea what it was all about. My wife then got the series for me for Christmas and I can't stop watching it! I am very glad I found this site! I'm a sci fi nerd (we live on a spaceship, dear) and am ASHAMED I didn't know about Firefly before.

And as a fellow sci-fi nerd who found Firefly late, don't be ashamed at all; be glad you found it. I only found Firefly about a month before the movie came out, and only after I came way late to Joss Whedon's *other* two series, Buffy and Angel. I never saw a single one of any of them when they were still new to this 'verse.

But we're all here now, ain't we?
