For those wondering, those numbers are terrific.

To put that in perspective for you all, the best ratings show in the country averaged just over a million last year... For a sci-fi movie that is 4 years old to get 800,000+...Channel 10 will be ecstatic.

The movie was shown on a Monday night, which happened to be 'Australia Day' and what better thing for aussies to watch than few convicts stand up against unbeatable odds!

Firefly/Serenity is much loved by everyone who lays eyes on it down here.

Expect many fresh faces after people who see the movie go through the same stages I went through..

Stage 1: `Shit, that was brilliant!' *Goes to internet to learn everything he can about a possible sequel*
Stage 2: Finds firefly, watches, falls in love.
Stage 3: *Watches Serenity again... ``That was even better the second time! How could he kill Wash AND Book''
Stage 4: Decides that future serenity and firefly is his/her life's mission.

Damn you fox...

I'm pretty sure I remember from the the extras or the movie that none of the charges ever stuck! LOL!
