Not many surprises, but overall a good, well-produced show. There was one small wrinkle - the curtain, at the beginning of the broadcast, wouldn't open.

Hugh Jackman was solid (I still prefer Billy Crystal) Loved the opening number with the leaner pared-down sets (very clever) and I really liked that they used past winners for the acting awards to present to each nominee in their category - that was a nice touch.

How about Ben Stiller doing his impression of Joaquin Phoenix? (I nearly peed my pants from laughing so hard). And can someone please explain to me why Beyonce was singing on stage yet again.
Is it in her contract that she must sing at all award shows? I was really happy for Penelope Cruz and her speech was truly special. Buena Suerte mi muneca!

Kate Winslet, happy for her as well. There's more but I'm a little tired and at work.

See ya'

More importantly than Beyonce, why was Queen Latifah singing over the Memorial!?

Loved Hugh, loved the opening (was probably the best part of the whole show), it had a few problems, but Ben Stiller's Joaquin was hilarious.

Wasn't happy with a few of the awards here and there, but eh, what do I know?

though, I'm still angry about the lack of Bruce Springsteen...

I didn't watch the show, only the red-carpet stuff. I thought Amy Adams was the best looking of all of them, followed closely by Anne Hathaway. I was glad to see this morning that Kate Winslet won Best Actress.

If it wasn't for Christina Hendricks, Amy Adams would be number 1 (actually she's 1a) in my heart & soul - What a woman!!!

She did look good, didn't she?

Anne Hathaway is class all the way.
