RIPWASH

Okay . . . trying to be a good Browncoat, I keep mentioning Firefly to people and telling them all about it and saying they can catch it on Hulu. Nothin'. Nobody ever seems to have enough time to watch it! Even the people that I KNOW would absolutely love it . . .

*sigh*

What more can I do? Any suggestions?

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"
- Out of Gas

There are likly no responses because there ain’t no sure cure for this. Every browncoat has found themselves in the same boat. The trick is to be patient. Ain’t nobody become Mayor in a day. Maybe throw a Firefly party at your place. One with chips, dip and soda ( mudders milk and beer couldn’t hurt)We all love FF. Keep holdin the line.

Best of luck recruiting, Z

The trick is to strap 'em to a chair like in Clockwork Orange.

Or...do what Z suggested above.

I spent three years thinking "I should see that movie" before finally watching Serenity and getting into the series.

Good things take time.

I have my own store bought dvds that I watch and another set clearly marked with my name and phone number that I lend out. So far, that has been successful.

I don't know if people initially feel guilty for having dvds in their possession that don't belong to them so they watch them or what, but I haven't had anyone that I lent them to not watch them and then buy their own set. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks before they start watching - then it's just a short time before I get my set back.

:-D

Many people can't do hulu. including me. I lend out sets of DVDs, which has worked so far.
