I really can't remember, but I keep thinking that Select to view spoiler:Rorschach shoots them or something. Of course, what they're doing in the scene is pretty graphic and gross anyway, and easily as disturbing as a dog getting hurt.

What it did was take heroes and turn them into regular people instead of idolizing them. It goes into the dark depths of the human psyche to show what kind of people would dress up in costume to fught crime, and the effects of what they've seen and done.

Actually I told one of my friends to skip it and she's far from feint of heart. I also told my brother and my mom to skip it (she's easily influenced by people telling her the name of a movie to see). It's a really really really guy movie IMO. Like sex, language, violence and male attitude in massive quantities. I really don't see why any female would enjoy the movie really. So, even though I don't really know your taste in movies, MsA, I doubt you'll enjoy it.

Select to view spoiler:For starters were there any women in the film who weren't a sex object? I can't think of one. A really good example is John recalling that he broke up with his first love because she was noticeably aging and he'd rather boink the young perky chick. Come on is that the only thing this movie values in women? And if action and violence doesn't speak for itself then you must have a different definition of male attitude than I do.
Quote:So, what do you guys think about terminator salvation? I was looking forward to it, but now the preview before Watchmen sorta has me disappointed. I'm not sure if I like the idea of the hybrid terminator thing that's our "last hope" or whatever.

I guess that' sone of the things I liked about both Sin City and 300 -- the women were definitely sexy, but still strong and interesting characters in their own right. And I don't think that stopped either from being "guy" movies.
