That is absolutely a beautiful idea, and had i a credit card and live in the states i would be bidding left right and centre!!! What opportunities to meet, mingle, and know your money is going to something so many woman artists will benefit from.

If you can, please bid!

Hey, I've been a super Firefly fan since the first air date, have bought several copies of the series and the movie, have lots of books, etc. But a choice between a lunch with Nathan Fillion and one with Keri Russell??? Gotta say, I think I'd just ask Keri how it was working with him in Waitress and stick to watching Nathan on video!

Sure Fillion would be great company, but you have to admit...eating with Kevin Smith would be awesome.

I notice that Nathan is barely being beaten out by Kevin Smith right now...

I wish I had the money.

Hmmm Lunch with Nathan Fillion....I would probably have my foot rammed firmly down my pharynx despite efforts to be good....either that Or I would be uptight with the effort to keep the insaneisms form escaping out of my head and into my mouth. I'm not a "star struck" kind of person but I'm thinking my natural ability to cock up most of my first meetings with people I respect or admire would work against me. Eg: I met James Marsters briefly a few years ago, and he told me I was "weird and not in a good way" (he was lovely about it though) If I ever had the opportunity of meeting Adam Baldwin, I would probably have an aneurism form the stress of trying to behave, having admired him for over 20 years.

I think he ended up being one of the top earners. Only person I saw with higher bids was Kevin Smith (for both lunch & a walk-on role for his new movie).
And that's as it should be. Our Captain is in high demand.

That's a wonderful result for charity! So great that he's doing this. Hehe, and after watching the most recent episode of Castle, I hope it's not too wacky of a person who won the auction for Nathan's sake! :P Life imitates art?

The Adrienne Shelly charity auction said Lunch for two. Hopefully that is what happens.

Castle's winning bid was $7,000. So Nathan got pretty close with $5,204.45.
