Greetings, all!

Results of the favorite Firefly Guest Star poll were as follows.

In first place, with nine votes, a man who enjoys matching wits with mind-reading geniuses and fire-loving midgets, and who may or may not now be purple and bloated and fetal, everyone's favorite bounty hunter, let's hear it for Jubal Early!

In second place, with seven votes, a man who we hestitate to call a psychotic lowlife (for fear of upsetting the psychotic lowlife community) and a real snappy dresser, let's hear it for Badger!

In third place, with four votes, a brilliant, beautiful, evil, double-crossing snake, and a woman makes Elizabeth Taylor look committed to the concept of marriage, let's hear it for Saffr--er, Bridg--um, Yolan--well, you all know who I mean.

Honorable Mentions go to Nandi, Adlai Niska, and Petaline, who each received two votes.

And a thank you for participating to Atherton Wing, Commander Harker, Tracey, and Madagascar Cobb, with one vote each. You are all winners!

Thanks to everyone who voted. Oh, and Gunhand, if you're reading this, we have had a request for an explanation of Madagascar, which would seem to be best left to you.

Glad y'all enjoyed it. I had fun running it (and, I had a blast writing this announcement -- which you could probably tell!).

I don't have another poll planned right now. I need a break, and I don't have a topic I'm excited about, so I'll wait, rather than doing polls for the sake of doing polls. But you never know when a new one might turn up, and if anyone else has any ideas, feel free.
